Wairewa Homestead has passed through six generations to its present owners Matt and Sue Latham and their children, Guy, 10, Angus, 8 and Georgina, six.

They’re a friendly family who enjoy meeting new people, and the kids love making friends with visiting children.

Meet Millie the cat, Chapper the pig, Rupert and Jessie are the family dogs.

A working sheep, cattle and deer farm spanning 1,000 hectares, guests can sometimes be lucky enough to see sheep being shorn at the farm’s woolshed.
